Statement by Management

(updated May 12th 2020)

Dear Guests,

On March 12th, the Belgian government took measures to stem the further spread of the COVID-19 virus on Belgian soil. As part of these measures, it was decided to close all restaurants, cafés, museums and many sights where people gather.

In light of these circumstances and as we believe those visiting Bruges want to experience the city at its best, we have had to make the difficult decision to close the hotel until and including May 31st and possibly for longer. This means all bookings including one or more nights prior to June 1st will be cancelled at this stage. For those with a non-refundable booking, we will provide a voucher to the full value of the reservation made, that can be reapplied in future.

Please contact the hotel by email if you have any questions and in order to make necessary arrangements, while we endeavor to reach out to everyone. We emphasise that for bookings made through third parties, we are not always provided with full contact details.

We very much look forward to resuming normal service in the near future, planning to once again welcome arrivals from April 4th and wish you and your loved ones the best of health and joy meanwhile!

Jan Teughels
